Lost response when clicking "show newest reply"

Title. I was writing reply with quote when thread has new replies (1+ Go to newest). As usually with these, clicked and went to next page. That also cleared whole reply box. Going back to first page did nothing, refreshing page did nothing.

 

I redid reply so no further issue there.

Does the editor autosave work normally? It should have recovered your post.

This is first time it hasn't saved my post. I'm not sure if I can reproduce it. Its not that often I reply to such active posts.
