best card for next gen games?

Hey guys,

 

my dads coworker offered to give me a 900w psu if it exists, I currently have a 600w psu and when now when I get the 900w psu I can overclock and etc.

 

I'm having trouble picking my gpu card, I want a card for next gen games that is really good I'm willing to spend at least $450 on a good card :P

A 7970 Ghz/R9 280X would be a good choice. If you are able to spend more, I would get a R9 290X.
