New laptop GPU: Pascal or maxwell

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy a new laptop for work and gaming. I found couple of decent ones with SSDs. But I'm curious what GPU should I choose.
Option 1:

Model: ASUS ROG G752VM-GC030T

CPU: Core i7 6700HQ

GPU: GeForce GTX 1060

RAM: DDR4 8 Gb

Data storage: 128 gb SSD + 1 TB HDD

Regional price: 2 171 USD

Option 2:

Model: MSI GT72 6QE Dominator Pro G 1276RU

CPU: Core i7 6700HQ

GPU: GeForce GTX 980M

RAM: DDR4 32 GB

Data storage: 128 gb SSD + 1 TB HDD

Regional price: 2 203 USD

Option 3:

Model: MSI GT72VR 6RD-091RU DOMINATOR

CPU: Core i7 6700HQ

GPU: GeForce GTX 1060

RAM: DDR4 16 GB

Data storage: 128 gb SSD + 1 TB HDD

Regional price: 2 203 USD

I see some tests show that 980m should be on the same level as 1060. What should I get?
Thanks in advance.

Option 3 if you can afford it otherwise 1, by the way some games can make use of more than 8GB RAM along with video editing too.

The third one is, as far as I can tell from the models we have access to (in my country) the only one that has an NVMe SSD.

Pity for the money that you are intending on spending that you could not do a built-to-spec laptop.

examples;

Metabox P870DM2-G - 17.3-inch G-Sync

Schenker XMD U726  17.3-inch G-Sync

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves (Abraham Lincoln,1808-1865; 16th US president).

For the money you're paying, you might as well get a better laptop... those are way expensive. Considered a P775DM2? 1060/6700K with SSDs should be within your budget.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
