Old hp pavilion e9220y gpu upgrade help

Wesley h.

I have a old HP pavilion e9220y and I can't run any of the modern games like rocket league and GTA 5 etc..

I am looking for a graphics card that I can just slot right in and play decently on.

I'm considerably new to upgrading computer parts so I have no idea what is compatible with what I got.

Looking to spend around $80-120 on the gpu

With most laptops especially older ones, you can't upgrade the Graphics card because they're permanently attached to the motherboard.

It is a desktop hp

I'm sorry I got busy & flooded by other replies elsewhere, I'd go with either a GTX 750Ti or RX 460 2GB. Be careful with the RX 460's though, especially the ones from Gigabyte. Them along with a few other companies have been replacing the standard components on their "custom boards" with ones that are actually 20% weaker.

If your power supply has an additional 6-pin power connector for the GPU then this would be your best choice, XFX Radeon RX 460. If it doesn't which is likely the case with that older PC then these two are other good alternatives, EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti or ZOTAC GeForce GTX 750Ti.
