Posted September 24, 2016 Team, I would like to know which AMD FX Series processor costs less and is also available. It can be a new or used. how ever can you also suggest any compatible motherboards for the processors, which costs less and is also available. It can be a new or used. But the processors should atleast have 4.00ghz or higher The purpose for the CPU is used for applications that are Processor Oriented (per core speed along with number of cores). And I would use a separate GPU for this project. I have a quadro 6000 along with 4gb*4 of DDR3 ram. Also please recommend a good PSU for this project. Max Budget is about $300 for now. I would upgrade my pc in the month of FEB 2017. $300 is for the Processor and Motherboard only. Any Suggestions are greatly valued. Thank you. Thank you. Edited just now by Zayir What are you doing on this CPU. Just because you used it doesn't mean it's good/acceptable. An FX8 cpu, especially if overclocked, REALLY shouldn't be used on a POS board like that with such a weak power delivery.
