Do you have a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive in your PC?

For your movies you can do the same, bluray external.. keeps your case front sexy

I don't really have a case I care to keep sexy. I'll probably end up getting an external blu-ray for my next one. And a sexy case I want to keep sexy.

I use one in my PC for my CD collection, and some older games I own on disc, not really for movies/actual DVD's. I was thinking of an external DVD Drive, but I thought that I would be needing it to play some games anyway (i.e Oblivion, Fable 1, etc), plus it was kinda expensive and I wanted to get my PC ASAP

As soon as high capacity flash showed up and I could install an OS off one I happily killed my dvd drive. I currently use it as a coaster on my desk. At this point, considering how many times it has been dropped, I doubt it works. 5.25 is a dying form factor, I don't see most cases having it in 5 years. Unless those holographic optical disks hit mainstream soon.

Good to have one. You never know when you need one. Although digital is preferred now. Here in Canada internet is still slow and expensive

Yes I have a CD/DVD drive and I usually use it for driver CDs/Live CDs and recovery tools.

Have a DVD one in my PC, although wishing to get an external Blu ray drive for my Blu Rays. Prefer having physical copies of games, Cd's (definately), and Blu Rays/Movies. Streaming here sucks pretty big as we have to stream at certain times due to peak hours (which is not at all cool)... although by the end of the telstra apparently will fix it .... hopefully

i dont because my case needs a slimline one but i wish i had one so bad in australia we have terrible internet and caps so downloading isnt really the best option plus i like having a physical copy of my games im waiting for like a "blueray 2" external drive to buy one.

I have one but decided to not install it when I rebuilt my system.  I really don't see a need for it.  In the odd time that I do need it, I just open up my case and just hook up the cables whiles the unit sits outside.

yeah I have an LG blu-ray drive, doesnt bug me that much tbh. it's black brushed aluminum so it matches my 900d

No I don't. I pulled them from all my computers late last year but now I have a closet full of them. At least if I do need one for whatever reason I have 6 to choose from.

Yep, I have a blu ray drive for reading blu rays and the occasional dvd. It's mostly used to convert physical movies I buy into digital formats I can use for my devices. It's much easier than using ultraviolet or itunes digital copies imo.

I dont have installed, due to .iso copies on my main storage drive from CD/DVD copies of the games/OS. But i have one in the closet along with a floppy drive too...

Nope, H110 blocks drive cage. I'll pick up an external one later but for those rare occasions I just use my laptop to copy over the files to a 64gb flash.

Yes because I still deem them necessary. Everyone I've helped build computers for needed one and I still use it from time to time, mainly for reformats and movies.

I was getting some photos off of someone to use in a poster design, and they handed me a CD and I looked at them as if to say "What am I supposed to do with this?".. .Hahaha First time I'd been handed a disk in ages. Only thing in our house that can read them is the bluray player in the lounge that we never use...

I always recommend a DVD drive, they're cheap and come in handy every so often.
