Hey! I'm doing a school project on ways to travel in the future and just remembered that Luke talked about some super high speed train prototype in TheWanShow but i cant remember in what episode it was.

Still entirely theoretical so far, but the concept is quite ingenious.

There are some major flaws with the hyperloop concept that may take decades to overcome.  Someone on youtube did a very interesting segment on this issues with the hyperloop.

 

Something like the bullet train is much more manageable with our current technology.

While it is very different from the hyperloop, Amtrak has plans for working on high speed trains on the East coast.  There is a good video in with the page linked below

They are building a test track somewhere in Cali (I think Cali, can't remember.) apparently.
