Did chrome update?

Did chrome get an update? I noticed today that all my extensions got smaller and the notification for gmail is different. Also, my gmail is slow af. It doesn't open half of my emails and doesn't un-highlight them after being read.

yeah it did, i rollbacked to an old version, the new one is terrible

Wait, did they disable adblock? I just watched an ad on youtube and had a in-video annotation type ad!

but it seems like my adblock hasnt been working on  youtube at all.

Adblock works abit, not a lot but a good amount of functionality is missing

i just dont like it... the text is too small and the blue text really annoys me for some reason. i prefer the old version before the update. so i changed some files so it doesnt auto update

Adblock Plus doesnt always work on Twitch. I had to install 2 other ad blocking programs.

my adblock started to play youtube ads sometimes. idk why considering i have adblock and adblocl pluis.

Yall may have conflicting lists using multiple ad blockers. Try to stick to only one and go into the settings and see what lists you have enabled for blocking. I use uBlock which is an all around better ad blocker IMO. It's available for Chrome, Chromium and Firefox. My main browser is Firefox, though I use Vivaldi for some websites (LTT forum, my subscribed YouTube channels and Twitch) and I noticed with uBlock, Twitch streams hang a lot more often than without it. So I don't use any ad blocker for Vivaldi, as leaving ads enabled for the YouTube channels and websites I actually care about does have a benefit for the creators. Random YouTube viewing and other general browsing is done with Firefox and uBlock though, and I've never had issues with YouTube ads not being blocked.

I only block because I hate video ads. I just hate them. I dont mind if Linus or some other YouTube channel puts an ad they made in their video. For instance at the start of Jayztwocent's videos he tend to do some ad. But its relevant to his channel in some way. Plus I really enjoy his Fractle Design Ads. I dont really mind banner ads, it just distracting ones like video ads that I can not stand.
