With a 6700k @ 4.7GHz and a GTX1080

I want to know what the cpu usage looks like with extended distance scaling on 100% (not the normal distance scaling) with a 6700k, i tested this personally with a i5 6500 and its simply always at 100% if you're moving. Generally an i5 is better for gta because gta does not use hyper threading well, but when it comes to the most cpu intensive cpu setting in gta 5 i would like to know what the usage on all 8 threads looks like.

Its ok if you don't have an 6700k any i7 will work just specify which one you have, which graphics card you have, and what the cpu usage looks like with extended distance scaling on max.

I only want to know how well an i7 does because i plan on putting out gta 5 videos with max settings too my 15,000 subscribers, it will help me greatly.

Aaand you forgot to mention your GPU.

There're other things like RAM speed and such, those represent a minor FPS increase... but the GPU, How did you forget it :P?

This is a signature.

Just looking at benchmarks an i7 will perform better then an i5 in gta V, since it can actually use more then 4 threads.

This should be what your looking for.  Looks like pretty good use of hyperthreading to me...

Running 4790k I7 @ 4.8 wtih a gtx1080 as well game is running @ 3440x1440 ultrawide with all settings cranked up.

The above always runs 100% as i find it super interesting seeing the data as I game And IMO the whole I7 isnt needed is deafinly a dated theory that needs to stop getting spread.
