Their drivers wont get better, but mantle will fix everything supposedly and I don't understand the Nokia reference.

where are you getting this?

Everything that I have seen shows that 290x is better then titan. @1080p titan wins, @1440p R9 290X wins.

So the limited edition doesn't include Premium along with BF4? Because if it doesn't there's no point for me to get it since i can get BF4 for like 30$ and another 30$ for Premium.

What makes you think their drivers won't get better? Because in the previous year there has been a massive improvement already. In this world, all it takes is one event to happen and everything can change, just like how Nokia rose and fell like the Roman empire - all after one presentation given by Steve Jobs in 2007. With Mantle primed to overtake as the new API, there is no way of knowing what can happen, Nvidia may be dominant now, but can you be sure in a few years time? At the rate we are going, AMD might pull ahead before we know it. Nonetheless, nobody knows what will happen - unless you come from the future of course.

You also don't get physX.

Dude, seriously cut out the physX crap, it's a property of Nvidia, the real advanced physX, not the CPU bull...

 

That's with the stock cooler and it was done with a synthetic benchmark which can push any GPU to that kind of temperature, and there's not even an official driver for the damn card.

I'll tell you this, all the cards i've previously owned were Nvidia, but i don't sit on anyone's lap. And i do not like having discussions with stuck up fanboys who talk out of their ass.

Not sure what synthetics you've been running, but thats exactly what a synthetic does, Maxes the card to a unrealistic load to get a score. As for the temp's the Titan easily hits 80c under max load, in this case the card hitting 90c under the same load is quite warm but I saw the fan at 40% so that might be why, but I'll wait for a more comprehensive benchmark once its released.

 

Please refrain from the whole OMFGWTFBBQ AMD/NVIDIA!!!1111oneoneoneeleven. Your card choices should reflect what you need price/performance and features not a badge. Please keep it civil and mature chaps.
