Yeaaa i'm not a fan of that fx cpu, i would try to get an i5.

 

An rx 480 likes a quite powerful cpu

I don't know if you really want that SSD but if you could just stick with a hybrid drive you would be able to have an i3 or a better GPU. SSD (at least, pricey ones) are mostly reccomended for 1000$+ build. I would prefer to have +10 FPS then to have 30 seconds less at boot-up.

Welp Im late to this party. Just gonna throw this out there ironically enough AMD GPUs pair alot better with Intel CPUs. Current chips like the FX just arent poweful enough to "shedule tasks" for the GPU do.

 

Also just go for the 1060 over the 480.

I like TheRandomness build - for a sub $1K then it does the job nicely and then some. Besides I am partial to the mATX formfactor (despite my next build being ATX).
