I'm pretty sure these parts i picked out will work for my gamer friend so can you verify it and give me some suggestions if you think it can be cheaper or if the power supply can be a better brand overall just give me some good advice

Yeaaa i'm not a fan of that fx cpu, i would try to get an i5.

 

An rx 480 likes a quite powerful cpu :P

I don't know if you really want that SSD but if you could just stick with a hybrid drive you would be able to have an i3 or a better GPU. SSD (at least, pricey ones) are mostly reccomended for 1000$+ build. I would prefer to have +10 FPS then to have 30 seconds less at boot-up.
