Planning a New Build!!

josh310

Should be. Just check on the Coolermaster website what the recommended case width is for that cooler. I've had a problem with it not fitting in cases multiple times now.

Different games make the bottleneck teeter. That seems to be sufficient, if any bottleneck I believe it would be the processor. If thats the case, flash the bios and OC it :).

whether of not it will bottleneck will depend on what you are using the computer for... are you gaming at 1080p, or at 4k? stuff like that. This seems like a great machine for gaming at 1080p.

PCpartpicker should tell you on your list if the parts are compatible or not. That's why its so amazing!

I think this is a very well balanced build. No need to change.

"May your frame rates be high and your temperatures low"

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

even cheaper, why do u have the hyper evo, you won't be over clocking with a non k cpu

Also to note, that a i5 will bottleneck in certain games at 1080p

That's the case I have and the card I have I highly recommend and think that you should think about a 6700k because you have more than the stock cooler

1) There is an included cooler if you want to use. It's not as silent, but it's free with the CPU box if you want to save up.

2)Why not skylake? The prices aren't different much anymore.

You will always face a bottleneck of some sort somewhere, for now the i5 is the best choice at this budget for games and the i7 benefit still isn't that massive for its price.
