P5K SE (non EPU) AHCI Mode - How to enable it?

Hello, I have an old system and I was about to replace my old HDD with SSD and i realised that my motherboard does not have AHCI mode in BIOS but in fact my southbridge (p35) supports it. Is there a way to enable AHCI? I'm using Windows 7 Pro X64. Here's system details.

BTW will this work?

Set "SATA Configuration" to "Compatible". Then "AHCI" should appear as a choice. Helped me with P5K.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Your chipset does not support ACHI, when the controller won't support RAID. The RAID runs off the South Bridge. P35 w/ICH9 do not have RAID, so no ACHI. P35 w/ICH9R have RAID and ACHI.

Well I tried Antinomy's modded bios and it WORKED! It detected all drives but there is a problem. Windows didn't booted at all. I tried Safe mode and it didn't booted. PC restarted itself. I've done configuring my BIOS to AHCI but I haven't done configuring Windows. I can upload a video If you guys want.

Interested in it. Didn't quite remember whole process on 775.

Windows won't boot when its original setting was IDE. You will need to redo the entire OS with ACHI drivers or try this method first
