Some of the rebates are pretty good imo ex: $30 rebates, but I find myself hard pressed to actually complete one that is like 5 dollars.

I did use them but it was well over 10 years ago. Perhaps closer to 12 or 13 years ago in fact. Back then I did got a couple of MIRs for GPUs and such.

I used to,  but with companies like Asus, MSI, and Dell not honouring rebates(I mean they do,  just they either take forever or forget and give you the run around) I really just don't think it's worth it anymore.

MIR are a scam, they expect a certain amount not to bother with it, or forget to do it. Then when you do do it, it takes a long time to get your cash back. Its like any company posting "Limit of" next to the thing they are selling, to make it look like its a good deal. Or Limited Quantities. Or Going Out of Business sale.

Yea I did a $20 rebate a while back for asus, said estimated shipping was 7 weeks and that they would take $2 off the rebate for faster shipping. I didn't pay the 2 dollars, but the card did come in 7 weeks... I still have the card and I don't know what to buy with it.
