Just a General Blogging Question

Just a general question about blogging...i am a university tech student so was thinking if i should start a tech blog and maybe earn a few bucks generally for new gear not because that i am in real need but because i have to wait for a whole year so that my parents would give me the cash for my new gear(yes i live with my parents and so does everyone else and yes nobody in Pakistan hires a student for a job)so i was thinking that should i invest in a blog or is there anything that i should look into?help is appreciated

If you want to earn money from a blog, you first need to have a very big following so companies want to advertise with you. To get a following, you need have an interesting blog, it needs to look good and you need to advertise yourself.

Minibois what i wanted to know was that SHOULD i start a blog or is it just a waste of my time and investment?

i would do it as a side thing for fun, like me and the freaking LAN PC lol

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I can't answer that, it's your time. If you have the time and interest to do it: sure do it. If you want to learn how to write better, get in touch with other companies (eventually) and get an audience: do it. If none of these things, don't do it.

Well I was once thinking of making a blog just to use as an online diary, but I couldnt be bothered setting it up.
