Which memory slots should my ddr4 memory go?

Ok thanks guys i got the solution now

I am a rookie in pc building so im not sure where to install my ddr4 memory on my z170 motherboard.i have two sticks of ddr4 memory but not sure where to install them ,i dont know if i should install them in the first and third slot or in the second and fourth slot (what im saying are all from left to right) hope you guys can help me with this.

1 and 2. it should be there on the mobo. or just alternative slots:)

Are you sure its the first and second slot im not seeing people doing that.

Put them in the slots with matching colors to enable dual channel, which ser of colors it really doesn't matter, people usually go second and fourth because of large cpu air coolers.

see on the motherboard if the slots are labeled if not just go 2 and 4 (from the cpu socket)

It should be either slots 1&3 or 2&4 for dual channel. Usually it's the outer most slots go first.

I highly doubt that as all manuals explain where to install the ram sticks... Just look closely
