New BF4 update fixs many problems

The new update as of today finally lets my 7970 get over 30FPS! How is everyone else s going

Another new one? Really got to update it, been so busy lately :( However, it was playable for me beforehand, with my HD6850 at 30 - 40 FPS :P

and with my 6950 at 45-55 :D

I get the feeling it might be more to do with your CPU.

I am getting 20-60 now on low with my 660....Big step up from 7fps :)

Most likley your CPU. 

 

My 950 and GTX560TI are running BF4 at a nice and steady 30-40+ FPS at 1440p on medium.

Yeah. I have an i3 also but it's hyper-threaded so it's not as bad. 45 FPS. Maybe you could get a 3570K during Black Friday/Cyber Monday

i used to get <10 fps on low with a 6300 @4.1GHz and a 7870 i'm now at 30-40 on high but the game still feels really clunky to play

60 plus fps on ultra everything with 100% view. 7970 with amd 8350 cpu.

Apparently running Windows 8 somehows gives you a lot more fps.

 

BTW avoid servers with a EA employee on commander mode. They increase the chance of server crashing.

Thats because the game is using DX11.1.
