I have used MX-4 in all my PCs and it has performed admirably...

I used some mechanical thermal paste my dad found at his job, 40 bucks tube.

The only thing I know is that it's not exactly meant to cool PC hardware, but much more heavy-duty systems, but it works outstandingly well on my PC and any PC that I've ever put this thermal paste on.

That's extremely expensive.... but it is also the best performer....

MX-4, AS-5, NT-H1, CP-7, IC Diamond, Ceramique, they're all pretty close to the same in terms of "apply to CPU and go". Even stuff like CLU and Grizzly isn't really worth it unless you plan to delid. As long as it comes from a syringe rather than a pouch and isn't "Bob's Chinese Thermal Underwear Paste for Computer", you're good enough to go.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
