GTX 960 2GB

Is the GTX 960 2GB still good to play games at 1080p at med-high settings for around 60 FPS? It will be matched with i5 6500. Games I will play will be like BF1 or BF4, CS:GO, COD, Rocket League, GTA 5.

Yes, but dont buy one, get something more worth your money like a 1060.

Unless he's getting a used one for $100.  I've seen them go for that.

Save for a 1060 or get the 4 gb if you plan on playing BF1

Fair enough.  A 960 at the right price wouldn't be a bad choice still, even if it wasn't the best value during it's lifespan.  Then again, a 6500 could do more with a 970 or better.

If you're getting it used then get a 380 4GB instead if they're within  $10-15 of each other otherwise get a RX 480, 1060 or even a RX 470.

Don't get the GTX 960 anymore, except it's used for 100-130 bucks or so.

 

For 20-30 Bucks more, you already get a 50% faster RX 470 4gb.

Which should be the Minimum for 1080p Gaming in todays perspective.

 

I do NOT recommend the GTX 960 anymore. And i do NOT recommend the R9 380(X) Anymore (like above: Except used for a much cheaper Price).

 

RX 470 Price/performance is just too good for it's 220~bucks.
