Currently I have an i7 3770k @ 4.5ghz, 16Gb of ram at 1866mhz (plan on going to microcenter and if they have another kit I might go to 32GB) would this bottleneck a single GTX 1080? If not what about two? At first I don't plan on buying two 1080's but it might happen eventually) I plan on triple 1080p gaming.  From what I've heard the 1080 is bottlenecked by older i5's and some i7's (at stock speeds). Thanks guys, if you need anymore info don't hesitate to ask.

It should be fine. You can try overclocking the 3770K further to minimize potential bottlenecks, but it should be fine, as the 3770K is still a very capable CPU.

your CPU is OK to run dual GPUs.

I dont see why you need to worry.

Ivy Bridge is fine. In fact, even at stock, it's fine. While you might lose a couple frames per second over an equally clocked 4790K or 6700K, I wouldn't call it a bottleneck. A bottleneck would mean that your GPU isn't being used to its full potential.

3x 1080p is going to be way more GPU bound than a single 1080p panel being CPU bound with that card...

I'd personally think you'll be fine.

i7 3770k @ 4.5ghz

that's probably about as fast as my 4.2ghz 4770K...and probably pretty close to even a stock i7-6700K which is THE BEST gaming CPU available right now...you're good bro...you're good. ;)
