$110 hey..  Do you think its worth getting that i5 instead?

Yes.  Four real cores are much better than two + hyper threading.

Hello everyone.  I need a $400 Canadian build, EXCLUDING GPU AND HDD

I got a r9 280 and 1tb Hard drive on hand, so I won't need those two parts.

Case can be anything, as long as it fits my gpu Card Size: 268x122x36 mm

Would like to play the latest games.  As long as I'm getting console performance, I will be okay!

I have a system like this that runs Fallout 4 and MGS 5 on medium / some high settings.

Well, if you live near a free geek, you can pick something equal to console performance there.

Hi, i dont want to start a war or anything but between these two which is better?  I can drop the OS on the AMD build btw and add that to a better processor

Also if i wanted to go a level up from i3 what processor would I be looking at?

The Intel CPU is about 35-40% faster at the same clockspeed (per core).  If both CPUs run at ... 3.0GHz, the Intel will be faster by a lot.  The reason for this is the better architecture, AMD is till way behind.

The i5 6500 is the next step up, I could not squeeze it in.  It is $110 more.
