ok guys, when do you think that overpriced 1080 will end and normal price will visit market again ?

and btw i saw that bt is selling asus 1080 strix oc for nearly 660 pounds.... although they don't have it in stock apparently

Few months to a year.

And some places let you buy them when they're not in stock and it will just take a while until they get a shipment, basically like a preorder.

Prices will drop as more and more stock becomes available, my guess is around the end of the year will be when they start to be reasonably priced.

well i am well aware of that fact, the question now is, are people really that rich that they are willing to spend, sometimes 150pounds just to get a gpu, faster? since nearly all retailers made their prices go up, then this means that people are actually  still buying from them

yeah, lest hope that in the start of a September, all prices will go down, or at least at bt site that theyr will not rise

The Asus Strix 1080 actually launched on preorder for £619, and then ended up fluctuating all the way up to £800.
