Anyone get a "game high" or the flight or flight response while gaming?

This might sound extremely strange. But do any of you lads get a gamer high? Like I do? If you lads don't know what that is, its a moment from at least my own experience a moment when you are fully immersed into the game, and obtain a moment of godlike reflexes and controls. A example of this happening to me is usually when am playing online, the last time that it happened short time ago, was playing MW3 and I went 80 and 2 and got a nuke, and was wrecking people left and right.  When this usually happens, most players can't stand a chance, cause am just so in the game, and as if I was part of the game itself allowing me to essentially hone all of my senses correctly, as if I was in the situation. 

The Fight or Flight, response usually only kicks in for me when am playing a horror game or being the only survivor in a very intense game. My I can hear my heartbeat, I can feel my senses being on edge and hoping for my survival. 

 

So yea, kinda strange. But oh well, any of you lads get these responses when playing?

Yes, but mine sounds a little less intense. Sometimes when I'm playing CS:GO, I'll become fully immersed in the game and I'll start doing really good, (i.e, fast reflexes, good aim, etc) but then I'll snap out of it at the end of a round, when I die, or if I blink too much

Occasionally when playing competitive games (eg. Rocket League or TF2) I have periods where I go into a sort of trance-like state where I start doing incredibly well without having to think about what I'm doing at all.

Umm I would just call muscle memory. In CSGO when you clutch 5v1 ace the adrenaline also help. Usually after a tense moment like that and everyone is like OMG! ACE!! I feel my heart pounding. I wouldn't say it is a different mind set just focuses+muscle memory

Not anymore, unfortunately.

 

My performance has become very consistent, I'm either doing well or not at all. Usually my performance for the next hour or so in game is determined within the first 10-20 minutes, excluding time spent in a training session, and fortunately I spend more time doing well.

I used to play with friends (shooters) that could do that.  I was too laid back, never cared to much... but I felt it from time to time.  I remember one instance of 32-2, I was freaking wrecking.
