Which Windows is better for gaming???

Go to solution Solved by DKL,

Correct.

Skylake and Windows 10 were designed to be used together, with Skylake requiring Windows 10. I tried Windows 8 myself on my own i3 6100, bluescreens started coming exponentially frequently.

Use Windows 10! You can't use any other Windows with Skylake CPU's!!!!!

Only Windows 7 and 8 systems listed here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/11675/windows-7-windows-8-1-skylake-systems-supported have any ability to use the other Windows versions!

Also Windows 10 is better for gaming.

Windows 8.1 slows down many games if the GPU is too slow giving you infinite time to react.

Playing older games 7 or xp since compatibility mode is screwed up for a lot of software in 10

New games obviously 10 once dx12 exclusives come out (assuming they do if they don't well then 7 or 8 would also work fine)

Will Windows 10 slow down some games?

If not we have a winner.

Slow down no not really, not work at times is more commonly the issue but it depends on the game, generally the games that have issues are from 2003-2007

Windows 7, because windows 7 does not have hard drive and processor intensive processes like malware scanners, automatic updates and other bloated sytem, procceses running without your permission that cause games to slow down and lag and have lag spikes.
