GTX 1060 450-490€ ... I just have to share this

Simon771

I'm not even remotly interested in buying GTX 1060, since I have 1070 myself.

But I just have to share this with you guys.

http://www.profiservis.si/si/izdelek/28101/asus-graficna-kartica-gtx-1060-6gb-gddr5x-pci-e-3-0/?utm_source=ceneje&utm_medium=products&utm_campaign=ceneje_products&utm_content=pp

http://www.mlacom.si/asus-strix-gtx1060-6g-gaming-6gb-pcie?utm_source=ceneje&utm_medium=products&utm_campaign=ceneje_products&utm_content=pp

In Slovenia, they are trying to sell GTX 1060 for 450€. One store even wants to get 490€ for it.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with them, but I just can't understand this.

In Germany those cards are selling for like 270€, but here we need to 200€ more? What. The. Hell.

Is there any other country out there, that's doing same crap like this? Or are we the only meesed up with prices?

300-330€

So anyone in my country should buy RX 480 since it will be much better price to performance ratio.

Whoever is setting those prices for GTX 1060, is just dumb.

Price for RX 480 seems fine around 300€ here.

It's 250€ in germany, so a bit more here.

But prices of GTX 1060 here made me laugh xD

I'm telling you, people are just dumb here.

At nvidia HQ:

-Why are the sales low in Central Europe?

-I don't know sir, I'll check.

-The prices are over 450 Euro Sir!

-Fire the marketing director of Nvidia Slovenia.

Those prices are stupid and the card won't sell. They will have to drop it. 950 euro for the Strix 1080, what the actual fuck? xD

Not super gamer MSI 1060 (With the new 9xx based Armor cooler, which runs and OCs fine in the 9 series)
£240

Non super gamer Sapphire RX 480
£240

Atleast in the UK, the 1060 is a complete no brainer

You just have to use brain when purchasing the 1060 and ignore the overpriced cards (The cheapest Gainward aftermarket card with some hardware modifications can hit 2.2Ghz, don't need to spend £100 more on Asus or MSI GAMER XYZ)

Keep in mind that average salary here is less than 1000€.

What are they thinking about prices here ... who knows.

And don't tell me that they are trying to sell old stock first, because that's not how it works. Nothin is in acctuall stock here. After I order in on website, they will order it from germany or somehwre else.

You can't just go to shop and pick it of the shelf. That's not how it works here xD

Sure some budget GPUs and hardware in general.

We need an AF vs AF comparison. Cause the ref 480 can get only 1280-1300 but the Nitro may hit 1400-1500

GTX 1060 prices in germany are 315-350 €. Here is the list from one german shop (english language): https://www.caseking.de/en/search/index/sSearch/gtx+1060

Might consider buying from german sources?

http://www.mindfactory.de/search_result.php/search_query/gtx+1060/listing_sort/6

280€ from mindfactory.

Seems like most legit store in Germany. Most popular CPUs and GPUs have over 30'000 orders.

I bought GTX 1070 from caseking, because at that time price in Germany was 500€ and in my country over 650€.

I think its everywhere in Europe.

GTX1060 starts at €300,-  for the lower spec 6GB ones.

And it goes all the way upto €400,- for the higher overclocked cards like the GTX1060 Strix.

Thats pretty terrible if you concider the price of previous x60 cards.

I would wait few weeks and then check on the prices, looks like it's usual 1st week bs exaggerations of prices. In Ukraine 1060 is 395€ right now and RX480 is 305€ but when 480 started selling it was at 380€

Kinda true.

But most people in EU get scared of US, because of those massive shootings and other incidents.

Meanwhile same thing is happening somewhere in EU, but they don't even tell us probbably.

Maybe a little off topic, but do you feel safe in US?
