also , many reviews didn`t benchmark with DX12 games , where the RX 480 is equal if not superior to the 1060

NVIDIA = Shadowplay.

BOOM.

The only time I would buy an AMD card is if I wanted to play Hitman. Which I don't. So NVIDIA's side it is.

This was my intention. I couldn't care less for either card. Neither am I a fanboy having had both AMD and Nvidia.

Agreed, hardware canucks benched the 1060 and 480 with a few titles and the 480 won all but one :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Every video i see says "gtx 1060 starting at 249$" so people compare the $180-199 RX 480 4GB or 210-230$ RX 480 8GB with that, while in reality the founder's edition is $299 and is probably going to show up in lots of stores at much higher price.

For example, in Romania the RX 480 (at the moment is not in stock) but listed at 1370 RON ($337) and the GTX1060 is 1620 RON ($399) - the few frames extra is not worth the extra $60.

The RX480 still has better value for money, the reference pcb is better, non reference designs will be much better for a few dollars more.

I've spent more money with AMD than Nvidia, although I'm not sure that means anything.

I Like my 1080 but I also like the 390. Horses for courses.

The reason for this 'AMD bashing thread?'
