Add within thread search function

Can we have a search this thread function?

Let's say you're looking at this 900 pages long thread, and you want to find a specific content or all post by a specific member.

Just type in what you want to search in the search box that's inside that thread, to give you the results you're looking for.

I thought it was already a thing. Or it is on desktop version since I can't select it on mobile.

It is a thing, but the button is only visible on desktop. Click the dropdown that appears to the left of the search box.

So yeah. Works on desktop. Though you can't just show all posts by user in that topic. You can show by user, but it needs 3 character search term too. Maybe thats possible with activity feeds. <- What I was suppose to post hours ago.

If you're trying to recall your own post, you should be able to remember an exact quote of a few words at least.  Put this in google with quotes and filter by site:linustechtips.com
