Any system on PC Part Picker at those price ranges will be a 'console killer"  consoles aren't really that fancy.   Usually they're running at the PC equivalent of 'Medium Detail'  with some features turned down and others, like texture resolution, turned up to cover the difference.  The prices drop even more if you look for builds with AMD cards rather than NVidia.  With the right sales and cashing in rebates you can build a PS4 killer for the price of a PS4

Hi i'm getting into the realm of pc gaming because my xbox one is now gone. I would like a computer than can beat any console its compared to for $1500 to $1800. If you can, please put the price in NZD. thanks

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

That's a very good PC, but I would reccomend skipping the 970 and waiting for the 1060 to come out, it's cheaper and more powerful than the 970 $250 for 980 power

I would recommend the rx 480 for a gpu, or a 1070, whichever fits your price range better. Other than that, it is great. Consider getting an air cooler however, as single red coolers generally perform identically to cheaper air coolers.

You have no way of knowing that for sure, nor does anyone. Wait for official reviews to find out how powerful it actually is.

What display resouloution.

Are you buying in US, if so, 1600 USD is not a console killing build, its an extreme play every game at max settings at a badgillion FPS, you could save if you are just trying to beat a console.

Sorry for not Editing the post sooner but because Of a Major mistake I made (Double posting) All of my posts that seemed relevant to my first post, Simple Cheap Console Killer, where merged so I didn't have the chance to also say I live in New Zealand and the price is in NZD (New Zealand Dollar). Again I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you

The PC that I built for you will cost your almost $150 less and perform a tiny bit better due to the 390 instead of the 970.

* You do not need a cooler for that particular CPU since it can't be overclocked and the stock cooler will be more than enough.

* You can switch to a cheaper motherboard since you won't be overclocking.

Have you already bought the components? If not, then I suggest you making these changes which will not give you any negative performance, but rather improve it and also save you money (for getting a better monitor perhaps).

Again thanks for the help But i'm going to gradually be building up my PC around the motherboard and CPU so I don't really see the point in buying a cheaper board when i'm going to be making a lot of upgrades in the years to come, also I changed the GPU to a 1060. I was going to buy the core i7600K but that's a bit to expensive and not needed. however I do plan on pushing this PC to its limits hence the fan on the cpu to keep it running smoothly and quietly because nothing bugs the cr*p out of me more than that stupid humming that you hear from stock standard CPU coolers trying to cope with the pressure of what I usually use my cra* computer I currently own for. but again thanks but no thanks.
