Adding Network card in to my pc?

Hello I have been have issues with playing minecraft and my computer speed so would a Network card fix my issue? right now it says I have Link speed 1 Gbps can I push my link speed up? some how

are you having trouble with the nic on your motherboard or do you have a slow connection?

yes when I play minecraft I have issues stay/connecting to minecraft servers and just trying to figure out how to fix this issue

No ethernet in to switch in to router in to modem but I use to be ethernet in to router and it still happen.

could be the router or the modem........ ever power cycle the modem?

um, ever update java? ( google java for minecraft, see what comes up.

I have did the power cycle the modem I have a modem from the ISP company if that makes a difference

totally isolate ( disconnect everything ) ( no wires/power etc, ) and let it sit for 5 minutes or so.

okay, call the cable company and see if there's something they can do without making a service call to the house. a lot can be done over the phone while you sit in front of your computer. you may have to contribute some effort but a good tech can walk you through it ( it's easy )

I have cycle the modem many times but the ISP is kinda clueless on my issue :/ I have ton of device on my internet and I'm just trying to figure how to make my computer have receive faster speed then everyone else

I believe but not sure if I fixed the issue I just made my computer a priority in my router to give me high speed
