Sounds like something may be wrong with PSU / something not grounding properly.

If it was working, and then randomly stopped working, it's got to be something to do with electrical / corrupt OS or some sort of OS issue.

Well the drivers are up to date and the audio service is working correctly since HDMI audio has no issues, so either way, I've got no reason to use the H87M Pro any more.

HDMI has absolutely nothing to do with your onboard audio.  You know that right?  The onboard audio does nothing to process anything digital, and HDMI audio is digital.

My point that Window 7"s audio service is running as it should.

You could also try making like a 20GB partition, and installing 7 or something on it and seeing if you can get the onboard to work there.  It'll only take like 30 minutes to find out, then at least you can rule out that.

Well I suppose the SSD has space, only 32GB used of 223GB.

Look fine to me for that overclock, never really messed with that CPU and Hasewell in general but IMO looks good :)

my system is a lot louder now, due to having the push pull fans on the cooler, but i just tested during my game play im over 20 deg C cooler, that is awesome, and im running at 4487 instead of 4387 hertz. I think I can OC more go up to 4600 or 4700 with out a water cooler. but i have never really messed with OC. ASUS BIOS has made it really easy for basic OC. i can select if i will be using system for game play or casual and when I swtiched to game play it boosted it up by 12%. I can go to advanced section and change multiplier to x46 but i thin i have to also change the voltage as well. i have watched a few tutorials from linus but never done it, at idle im at 26 deg C. before i was little over 35

Core 2 Duo 6400 @ 1.325v 3.2Ghz, Not a great overclocker but not bad overall jump from stock performance for being an early model Core 2 Duo.

I just realized why the fans are soo loud. I had the fan control in bios to set to max. once I turned to normal it is realy quiet and temp at full load went up by only 2-3 deg c.

E7500, first CPU to be used on the new motherboard! Temperature sensor for the CPU seems to not work so I did not push it as high as I wanted but still turned out ok :P

What did you monitor the temp with?

On the plus side that's an A3 revision chipset so it should be pretty solid :D

It was the CPU, threw the Pentium Dual-Core in and it worked fine, might try it on another board to make sure :)

The second 6400 was a slightly better overclocker but nothing to exciting, still for a 10 year old chip it still kicks some butt :P http://valid.x86.fr/ea5fq3

I don't know...if this is good or bad...but I guess I was expecting more. I am new to cinebench, so feedback appreciated.  Running i7 6700k  @46 multiplier and 1.35v.  Also, for some reason when I try the OpenGL it gives me a failed message at startup, then runs through the entire bench fine, but wont give me a score...?  Any thoughts or ideas how to fix would be greatly appreciated (Gigabyte Extreme 980ti @ stock). Ty!

P.S. Using Hyper Evo 212 air cooling for CPU. Could probably OC more, but didn't want to push it with air cooling...

Hello, thank you for the advice; however, the only options I show are in 'preferences' (no "settings section), and it only gives me the option to change the amount of cores or what language I want. Am I missing something? Sorry if I am being really dumb here...
