Having just redone my bedroom and unmounted my old projector, Im re-decorating the living room and something of this nature would be fantastic to setup as it would mean I wouldnt have to drill new holes in the wall to wallmount my old epson projector.

Short throw projectors have always interested me. Living in a college dorm I don't have the space for a traditional projector setup. but getting a 60 inch screen from something so close to the wall, it just about fits into the space i have. I'm also appreciating how electronics of all types are getting smaller and lighter every year. there's no way a projector of that caliber could have been carried on the back just a few years ago.

Seems like a great projector for multi media and for single player or co-op games with friends. It actually has good connectivity for a projector of it size while space is the downfall for most other projectors.

I saw this projector at a LG tech preview, and have been looking at using this projector for a 4 screen VR setup that i am designing.

Annoying thing is that LG UK are not holding stock of this line and i cannot get my hands on one, let alone 4, without paying stupid amounts or flying to the USA and importing them myself.

You didn't mention the coolest feature of this projector! It has a built in DVB tuner so can be used as a smart TV for free-to-air content just by plugging in an aerial!
