How to connect ps4 controller to pc wirelessly without bluetooth adapter (windows 7)

Go to solution Solved by AresKrieger,

Without bluetooth it will not work regardless of the OS.

Title says it all

I want to do it without the bluetooth adapter unless windows 7 already has it built in for some reason

Windows 7 doesn't have a bluetooth ADAPTER built in. The former is an operating system and the latter is a physical device.

The controller is bluetooth. You would need an adapter to use it wirelessly, and possibly some extra drivers on Win7
