Yeah, I am not really in the mood for an argument, but what it boils down to for me is: Guns were designed to injure or kill, unlike other items which could be used for killing, but that is not their purpose.

Think about a drunk driver they can kill and it is not the cars fault....Same with guns a crazy person with a gun can kill but it was NOT the guns fault!!

My City, Fort Wayne, Indiana, has a huge problem with murders. Mainly gang related, but the news always blames guns. We went form 18 gang related homicides in 2011 to 34 and climbing in 2013. (And btw, Fort Wayne isn't exactly a big city. Only a population of about 254,555 within city limits and around 700,000 in the surrounding counties)

Ok, I see where you stand. But I think that even if you remove guns from the equation people will find a way to kill people. True, the constitution is a pretty weak argument. Just threw it out there. I think we should not promote guns, but also not 100% ban them.  Agree to disagree?

Let's just say that when somebody shoots a gun the country acts as if the apocalypse is happening, do you see where I am coming from? It is so uncommon here that people act so overly dramatic, I just want America to have that feeling too. That a gunshot is a rarity rather than the norm.

 

I remember 2 years ago in 2011, in my town there was a shooting in a mall not 3 kilometers from where I live. Several people injured, some killed, then the shooter killed himself. I was in disbelief the entire day and that entire week.

 

Google 'Alphen aan den Rijn shooting mall', yeah that was my town.
