For my first post in the Audio section I thought I would say something meaningful. Hearing loss is no joke. This website has a little tool which can show you how your hearing can change over time.

I think its a shocker how bad your hearing is going to get, so look after it because its not something you want to worsen.
They also give some great advice on how to avoid hearing loss

Sounds okay until 70+, not sure if ill live that long but hell it would be a pain in the ears.

How accurate is this simulation?

very useful, it is very generalized, but useful.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

It's life, and there are hearing aids. Worst is not to be able to hear anything at all.

What I find worst is kids that you can hear their music with headphones on.

PSA: If people can clearly hear what someone is listening to from a reasonable distance away whether it's headphones or car speakers then it's way too loud and grounds to give someone a well meaning slap in the head.  lol
