RX 480 Test Cards - Verify bios was accurate?

TwoSheds

Did anyone who received the RX 480 8GB with the test bios to disable 4GB of VRAM to simulate the 4GB card, check to make sure it was under-clocking (-1 GBPs) the VRAM as well?  If not, when the new drivers arrive tomorrow-ish, we should request a re-bench of the tester cards with this metric included.

Just like I thought. The 8Gb model really makes no difference really. The GPU is just not powerful enough to use it in 1440p or 4K.

In my 970 I've never seen over 2300 VRam use in The Witcher 3, War Thunder, Firestrike... never anything even close to 4 Gb in 1080p.
