Nhd15 coil whine ?

Got my first noctua product yesterday a NH-D15 1. It's HUGE and 2. It's silent however because it's so quiet I can now hear like electrical whine is it my 280 or a hard drive  all help appreciated

I doubt its your NDH15 since it has no power phases on it. If it is that, then it means you may have a bad fan or 2 on it. Unplug the fans from your motherboard and see if it continues to "whine" if not, then take and plug them in 1 by 1 off the splitter and see if you can isolate it.

Could be the HDD esp if its aged abit. GPU coil whine usually go away over time.

Try powering on the system with the graphics card or hdd uninstalled to isolate the noise.
