Why is there a "Hidden Network" that I didn't set up? How to get rid of it?

Sharp_3yE

I have a hidden network that shows on my PC. I didn't set it up and I don't know how to get rid of it, Anyone know anything about this?

I have Cox. My router is an Asus TM-AC1900. More info, resetting the router does nothing about the issue.

The hidden network is any wifi that doesn't broadcast its ssid. You can't get rid of it unless you made a wifi with hidden ssid.

Yes, that is correct that it is hiding it's ssid. It is coming from my router it seems cuz it follows the 5ghz band network that I created and it is also gone when I turn off the router. It shouldn't be there.
