So apparently you can buy the 7 GPU Terminal from EK that they custom made for Linus'es 7 Gamers 1 CPU rig now. I don't think many people will need it though...

Yep, but I do think that bitcoin/litecoin/etheruim mining would also be a good use.

i doubt there's any GPU miners looking out to spend this kind of cash on their setup.

 

meanwhile, for renderfarms this could be a HUGE saver if they can put 7 GPUs together in a small form factor, with heat going directly into the airconditioning unit on the roof.

Or if the Nvidia Tesla accelerators are made single slot, that would work for rendering

well, a single slot block on them, screw the brackets in the enterprise field :P

well, you most likely wont easily find single slot brackets for the tesla's, but if you add 7 together with waterblocks it's not like putting those brackets back on will add much in terms of structure :P

Oh, so remove the brackets?

EDIT: On second thoughts, there are no ports, so you could probably just fit a single slot bracket

thing is they had to do the engineering to design it for linus, so even if no one buys it, it's not been a loss to put it on their website.
