Posted June 25, 2016 So i was just wondering , i know that faster ram increases gaming performance if you are running a IGPU , but what about if you aren't using a IGPU? Would there be any effects in gaming performance , and if so is it very big or really small and unnoticable ? Thanks for Viewing
 APU stands for accelerated processing unit. Posted June 25, 2016 Faster RAM only comes in handy if the program will benefit from loading data out of it in a fast manner. This heavily affects games that stream its data from the game files. A game like Team Fortress 2 won't show much benefit but something like Grand Theft Auto V will show a heavy advantage using faster RAM. Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here! Posted June 25, 2016 Older sandybridge cpus can also benefit a bit from faster ram, it will only be about 5fps though, and cinebench benefits from low cas latencies. With newer cpus for gaming there is virtually no improvement from faster ram. •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •
