2016 updated hackintosh?

ItsMinJunLol

Hi guys, do people think Linus should make a new 2016 hackintosh build? I think that the last build was WAY overpriced and also outdated. Should Linus do. a cheaper, better 2016 hackintosh build? Post opinions below and I'm not so sure if this post will get banned again due to hackintosh. Thanks!

O I want a full mac. I'm planning 1 with MSI GeForce GTX 980 4g. But I'm not really sure if DDR4 is supported. Some say it's supported but I'm not too sure. Also with the i7-6700K. I'm not so sure if it's supported.

well their video was more of a tutorial of how it is done(without the whole hassle of component selection) and not really meant(so far I know) as an example to follow up to.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

Does that mean I can put in 32 gigs of Dominator Platinums?

I did, and it didn't give me much help. Also, people never seem to respond in the forums.

Should do an AMD Hackintosh Build. Seems like a project Luke would love because it really involves getting your hands dirty rather than following a detailed tutorial.

don't they have poor support because of apples lack of amd processors in their lineup?

Yea, but there are people who've managed to get 10.10 and 10.11 running stable on AMD platforms. Would be a nice video for LTT to make because there aren't a lot of AMD Hackintosh videos, let alone good ones. While good Intel Hackintosh build guides are a dime a dozen.

It's quite a limited market, AMD Hackintosh's are... Not worth the potential issues as far as compatibility goes either. :|

Would still be an interesting video rather than making another Intel one. Again YouTube is flooded with those Intel Hackintosh videos. I don't see LinusTechTips doing the sheep approach and just make videos based on what every one else is making just to get views.
