Greetings all, been a long time Lurker of this site and finally decided to register/post my first serious build. I've build some medium end PC's before but this time I was fortunate enought to have a decent PC budget to play with so I hope you enjoy the build. The first pieces are Assembled and I will look forward to sharing it with you. Here is a pic of some of the pieces and others I already have that I bought weeks ago that are not shown in picture yet. Also I nicknamed this PC the Beast because everyone of my friends call it that when they see the Haf X lol

Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i
PSU: Corsair AXi Series AX860i
CPU: Intel i7-4930K
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD 256GB
OS: Windows 7 Pro (64Bit)

Case: Coolmaster Haf X

HDD: 3TB Seagate

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LP

GPU: Nvidia 660Ti FTW ( Will replace around black friday with the best avaliable for a decent price to hold me over until next year Black friday where I will go Top of the line for Star Citizen)

I must admit I am a bit concerned about installing some of this as I have no experience mounting the CPU to the Mobo or using that Water cooler and attaching it, thus I will do steady research for a week or two before I attempt any hands on work but when I do I will update with Pictures of the complete build.

Ahh I forgot to mention that GPU is from my old build. I picked it up last year boxing day with my AMD FX-8150 Black edition for super cheap so I was hoping to replace it this year with a 780 or something if they drop to the 300ish price range.

Welcome to the forums  :). Why 4930K? If you're just gaming going 2011 is a waste unless you're going for some 3-way SLI system. You should also try to improve the cable management a bit. Otherwise it's a really nice build :).

Just another update more Parts I got today. Picked up an Asus USB-N66 Adapter for my PC to replace my Dlink Network card. I went from 1Mbps speeds to 56-60Mbps with this tho my internet speed is 100Mbps on the desktop that is connected through a cable to the Modem. I also picked up an Asus RT-N66U Router to see if that will better help increase the speed of my Wifi to get as close to 100Mpbs as possible on the wireless side of things as the stock Internet Modem we just got has terrible reviews for its wifi Capabilities which is why I think the speed is so slow on Wifi.

I also Caved and Picked up the MSI HD Radeon 7990 as it was only 500$ and it has a 3 year Warranty where if it fails or breaks etc.. in the next 3 years I get an auto replacement of the newest card out there that has similar specs, so this 500$ card could potentially net me a Future GTX 760 if they exist in the future or what ever the equivalent is when it does fail. I thought it was to good of a deal to pass up so I went for it :)

Here is some pics I snapped on my phone of the Card.

The card is really heavy but it does not slouch down or anything and it was very long but as you can see I have plenty of room in this case to fit it.
