Other Fourms?

I've been pretty inactive on this forum, I was wondering what forums do you guys use? I like and use Hackfourms, LeakForums, Ubuntu Forums, PC Gaming Forum. and dabble in 4chan, along with Reddit. I personally think that LTT is more of a community and not a forum. I don't care for it, there's too much big brother. If you want to say your mind here everything gets deleted........What do you guys think? 

Edit: I will agree LTT has a great layout but it is too censored.

No the LTT is much more neat and clean. I was trying to fix a problem so I asked on here and reddit. Reddit told me either what I already knew or some stupid joke that didn't help me while some nice person on here told me exactly what to do. I also really like the feel and layout of LTT as most other forums are dirty and messy. AKA reddit and many others

this is the first forum i've ever been on and most of the stuff i've needed help i've gotten it, i don't know what you mean by too censored to be honest.

They can do that everywhere, pretty much every forum has editing functionality on the moderator level.

What I'm just saying is that I experience it here a lot more than on the others forums I am on/used to be on.

Maybe it's because this is one of the few forums which actually has a report button.. But that's besides the point.

 

For example Deviantart has a kind of weird, outdated feeling forum software and they can't edit people's post, they can only hide someone's post, not the thread entirely and they don't have a report button. They also have an entire section for Philosophy and religion threads, the latter of which is pretty much forbidden here :P

Anyways, it's not a good place to compare with, they do a lot wrong though.

We've had a few good threads on religious, politics, and other "controversial" topics go on for many many (10+) pages in the past. If the thread stays on topic and appropriate (i.e. doesn't resort to people attacking and berating others), we generally leave them be. Sadly, many threads don't seem to be able to do this, and they get closed down.

politics doesn't seem like a problem here, but I have only encountered two religion threads that weren't closed on the first page (one of the two which didn't get closed on the first page got closed on page 11 or something, nothing went wrong there though) and the other one just didn't take off, so ye..
