Custom Corsair H75 Pump Speed?

Hey guys. 

 

I just got my new custom build PC and started playing around with fan speeds in ASUS Fan Xpert 3 and noticed I also have the ability to change the water pump speed of the Corsair H75 cooler, which makes it run quieter at 50% (around 700-800 RPM) and no real difference in CPU (6700K) temperature at idle.

I set the pump to ramp up speed when the temp increases, but even under load it stays around 50-60 degrees C. 

 

My question is this: Can the pump take damage by varied speeds, or is there a minimum speed I should have in mind?

 

This is my first water cooled system.

the internals were not designed to have the pump change speeds. so, yes, it possibly be an issue.

that'd be a real question to ask corsair, as their reply will prolly be run it at 12v and if noisey, start an RMA support ticket on the kit.

if you have a noisy pump, proceed with a RMA to replace it.

Hm okay, What temps should I expect? Idle its around 32-33C, and full load 88-90c. It does jump from idle temp to max in a second. Not like it works its way to 88-90.
