Hello!

I don't know how do I setup an ethernet connection. I have ethernet slot on my motherboard (MSI H170A Gaming Pro) and I have connected the ethernet cable to it and to my router, but I don't get internet connection. DO I need to update the LAN drivers or what?

Thanks! :)

is it a clean install? If yes, then ofc you need LAN drivers.

Is the router functioning properly? Try to connect to the router with a wireless device and see if you can access the internet.

It could be that you need to install LAN drivers.

Goto device manager, find the network adapter in there, right click, properties, update driver, select manually (give it the folder with the driver in it)
