they are called Vega and they will be coming in about 6-12 months

Well there's Polaris which will be launching soon, but those aren't high end....

Vega is the real high end, which will be q4 2016/q1 2017

No, that's exactly what's happening. AMD doesn't have anything to put up against the 1070 or 1080. So they are sticking to the RX480 and below. Until Vega.

Yeah, stay the fuck out of Nvidia's way xD 

 

But in all seriousness AMD is in a better position than Nvidia by NOT going with a higher cost option. Having a 200 dollar solution is WAY better than telling people it takes 400 bucks just for a graphics card to game. By staying low AMD could take a majority market share away from Nvidia.

We don't know any of this yet. I still believe that then AMD say they are targeting the mainstream they are referring to the 480 and 490. I believe that Vega will be a new Fury, whatever they are intending to call it and will be high end or enthusiast class. I really hope that the 480 isn't the best they have to offer in the next year.

Vega is rumoured to launch in October.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills
