Yeah just right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and go to Playback Settings and you can pick which output you want to use (right-click the one you want and Set as Default Device).

i use dvi for my pc monitor, and want to use hdmi for my tv. i have already searched about this and i know it will work.

however my question is about the audio.

as you can see in my setup i have pc speakers. if i hdmi to my tv, will the audio go straight to my tv and as a result cancel the audio to my pc speakers?
