What do you guys think of this build?

Wrb

Hello guys,

I am going to build my first PC within the next couple of months and i was wondering if you had any advice or things you might recommend. What i was planning on doing was buying an A10 APU this year as I'm only going to running games like CS:GO on mid settings and perhaps Cities Skylines on lower settings, then i can get a beefy graphics card next year for more GPU intensive games. My budget is about £250 and as I'm a first time builder i wanted to make it easy to build. Anyway, here's the link to the build http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KsGXsJ. Huge thanks for helping me with this!

Also, i have a mouse, keyboard and monitor already so i don't need them in the build.

i would recommend getting an evga 500b so you can add a decent GPU in the future, Also i would recommend 2133mhz ram as with apus, faster ram greatly improves performance.

Main PC |CPU - i7-6700k|GPU - R9 290x tri-x 4gb|RAM - 16gb ddr4|MOBO - MSI z170 - A PRO|HDD - WD 1TB/240gb Sandisk |PSU - 700w Raidmax

Laptop |CPU - i7 4720hq|GPU - 960m 2gb|Ram - 8gb 2x4|Model - y50-70 Touch|SSD - 240gb Patriot drive|Display - 1920x1080 IPS touch

You will want a better power supply, and a better drive.

Drive from WD or Seagate

And it is better if it's dual channel.

Well, 430W should be enough. Look at the next gen polaris gpu's. They are going to be low-mid end with a very low power consumption and pretty good performance.

He should be fine with just 430W

I was going to go for a single stick now so can add more of it later without having to waste some.

you can do that, but i would recommend at least 2133mhz ram

Having only one stick though will severely impact your fps on an APU. Just saying.

In my professional opinion I think that if you take all those parts and put them together you will get a computer that can do things.

I would get a skylake i3 and a H110 mobo. Yes, the iGPU is worse, but it's enough for CSGO.

Hello again, just looking in pcpartpicker, and ive decided to go for the gigabyte GA F2a68hm-hd2 motherboard as someone sugested, but it says that:  "Deepcool TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower Case has front panel USB 3.0 ports, but the Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard does not have onboard USB 3.0 headers." Is this going to be a problem or can I just use the back usb3 ports and wire them to the front?
