Funny/Strange school experiences.

For example, I walked into school this morning and when I scanned my ID card, the speakers started playing "Happy Birthday." Everyone was like "Oh, happy birthday!" All I seemed to be able to do was laugh and thank people.

I had to teach mathematics to my class for 1.5 years because the teacher couldn't.
In case you're wondering I'm all but a mathematician.

Also I believe every day of school so far has been a waste of my time.

Turned up to school one day, there was no students in the grounds just teachers.

Turns out basically the entire school decided to go to the other side of the school and sit at the gates (the other entrance).

So I went round (not wanting to walk by teachers) and found my friends in this massive crowd.

Next thing we know teachers are running towards us and we all run away lol

Lol that was pretty weird, especially the ID card thing. Probably nothing weird but we did a "find words from a huge square of letters -thing" in English class today and I accidentally quit loud said parish, because I remebered it was a synonym for congregation and it confused the f*ck out of the teacher

What is this....

All schools have difference in policy, some are more strict than others and his probably requires ID logging to prevent skipping/leaving school or being where you're not supposed to be.

 

It removes the need for attendance and automatically logs absence and tardiness.

 

 

My school didn't care too much so I could pretty much skip and leave whenever I wanted. I often came to school or left school half day to prevent being marked absent. I've even remotely signed myself out of class by going to the bathroom and calling the front office and pretending to be my dad

I have showed up at school in a full on corps paint. Needless to say a few heads turned and my teacher was so mad she called my mother.

One time every boy in my year was in a huge crowd circling something and cheering, I assumed a fight or something...it was a guy performing card tricks to a teacher

Very good. Also, it's pretty much a way to make sure no unknown intruders come in with weapons, etc.

Weapons, sounds so american. Not to say that weapons in school is a good thing. And we have had some problems with school shootings in the past here in Finland too

As you probably already know, terrorism in schools is bad here. In the last 20 years, there were at least 6+ mass shootings. Makes me sad to see such fucked up people in the world.

I hate to say it but, I think that's probably the only way they're going to change gun control until it becomes a domestic epidemic.

 

We'll just hold all the school children hostage until the wackadoos at the NRA make some concessions.

damn, at my school(vocational school, jr and sr only, about 500 students) almost everyone who drove there had a gun in their truck, some teachers even had a pistol in thier desk.  Someone would be pretty stupid to try that there.
