I just want it for the multiplayer, so I was wondering if it's good. After watching some multiplayer it looks fun but I want to know some other people's opinions about it.

On top of that, how long do you think the game will last? I don't want to drop $60 on it and then the multiplayer be completely dead in like a couple of months.

Don't really know what to put here.

The multiplayer seems to be the weakest point of the new Doom game. It probably won't last for long. Especially if they will do multiplayer map DLC. I don't think it will be completely dead any time soon. But within a year it might have 300 people in multiplayer. Depends on how Bethesda will handle it.
Maybe they won't let that happen.

As for few months I don't think this game has enough in multiplayer to keep most player interested. At least on PC. And it has some tough competition as well. So I don't think that most people will stick around with Doom multiplayer.

Singelplayer seems fun tough. I currently don't have a working PC but when I get it working I'll just get it based on singelplayer alone.

After playing the beta, all I can say is that it's not worth it. Yes, I didn't play all modes and all, but after 2-3 hours you realise it's fun to a degree. SP seems to be awesome, but I can't see MP lasting for long.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
