my own LTT edition PC

Wishiwasdead

So i've been slowly gathering pieces over the past couple of months to build my own LTT edition PC. this is going to be my HTPC for my living room... not really a gaming rig...

might not be as powerful as Linus' LTT build... but much better looking imo...

in the order that i have bought the parts

- Corsair Force Series GT 240GB (already purchased - reused from an older build)

- 4x LTT edition Noctua NF-F12 fans

- ASRock H170M Pro4

- Intel Core i5-6600

- Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400 1x 8gb

- Fractal Design Arc Mini R2

- Cooler Master GeminII M4

- Samsung 850 EVO 500gb

- WD Black 1TB (i have a few of these lying around my house... i will stick them in as needed...)

- EVGA G2 550w

- Cablemod RGB Light Strips

still need to pick up a PSU, thinking about a EVGA G2 / P2 or a Seasonic S12II / M12II / G / S12G --- something along those lines...

and maybe a GPU... not sure yet, i have a GTX 680 that im currently not using that i can throw in there, and if i get one of those new 1080 or 1080ti for my gaming rig i may throw one of my gtx 780s in it... not sure yet... for now im going to just use the onboard graphics...

one more thing... the name of this PC originally was going to be "LLT Edition PC" but do to the fact that i have boughten almost all of these components either on sale or w/ mail in rebate... im probably going to end up naming it "Rebate"

I was just about to say needs more orange but then I saw your spray job. Nice, I like where it's going. I hope the power supply follows.

If we were all going overkll here, the Gigabyte SOC Force (an EATX orange, white, and black motherboard) would look awesome with triple 20th Anniversary Edition ASUS 980 Tis (They're gray and black with orange accents.)

I think that's enough orange for now :) You should add some grey if you can.

im done painting... agree'd too much orange would be a bad thing, thats one of the reason i went with the Fractal Case though. they already had a good two tone color scheme... i just had to change the white to orange... and thats all i plan on doing...

the only other color that will be added is the black PSU and the cables which will look something like this... mostly black with dark grey and orange accents
